Tdf's Empty Stand Leaves Innocent Victims, Including Fans

Give me the barf bag. Again a draconian action. The Tour de France organization sucks more than the dopers. The Astana team has been excluded from the Tour. They got caught doping in last years tdf. No matter that they purged last year's team and management and are the same only in name and sponsor. A sponsor that rights the ship and is still willing put their millions of Euros into the sport while others are bailing deserves this? It's alright to victimize the totally innocent riders on the team by excluding them? Astana would have been the strongest team participating with last years winner and third place finisher along with another 2 time 2nd place finisher. With them not there the race has lost its stature as Cycling's top event and is not interesting to the fan.

I've immensely enjoyed being a fan of the tdf but they make me sick and I think maybe its time to ignore the race. It could have recovered from the dopers, but its own bullshit kills it for me. Bringing down the absolutely innocent Floyd Landis, the possibly scapegoated Michael Rasmussen and now this is too much. Its like leaving a lover, its sad and leaves a hole. One asks why did you ruin something that was so good. Is there not a riders and an owners organization in cycling? They should take a stand on behalf of the victimized owner and riders and boycott the tdf!
