Bikecentral.org is an attempt to organize all the information about Cycling in Central Oregon in one central place. The web address is a pun. Bikecentral.org hopes to increase participation in cycling events and culture. Cycling is a great sport to follow and participate in, this website hopes to help you do both. Bikecentral.org's goal is to replace Baseball as the national pastime with Cycling!

bikecentral.org Services

You can include Central Oregon Cycling events on your webpage. The RSS feed can be parsed, but that entails some complicated programming. You can simply put this on your webpage:

here's what it looks like:

The iframe part is all you really need, you can make up your own title and the link to bikecentral can be omitted if you want. You might also play around with the attributes height, width, frameborder, etc. to get the look you want.

The above will list the next 6 events, but you can totally customize what you get. For instance you only want 5 events, instead of src="http://www.bikecentral.org/getevents.php", use src="http://www.bikecentral.org/getevents.php?x=5". if you'd like the next 4 events, limited to Hutchs events, use, src="http://www.bikecentral.org/getevents.php?x=4&limit=hutchs".

The format is the page(http://www.bikecentral.org/getevents.php), followed by ?, parameter=value pairs separated by an ampersand(&)
Here's a list of the possible parameters:
showdescrip=1 returns descriptions in addition to titles
x=number the number of titles to return
style=mywebsite/mycssfile.css web page address of css file, do not include the http://. This is if you want to use your own style.
tag=tag get events based on a tag, irrespective of date
limit=tag limit results by a tag. Use this if want the upcoming events limited to a paticular tag. Or if you want to furthur refine results for a tag
A special tag is 'today'. It will return todays regularily scheduled rides
